Ingredients

- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, please. Ain’t nobody got time to deal with shells while cooking!)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (you can find this at any grocery store, but feel free to make your own!)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (this adds an extra layer of flavor)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
For the Pasta and Sauce:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta (or any pasta you love, but fettuccine is my personal fave for this dish)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (just to bring that flavor all around)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated is always best)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, because we want it to look good too!)
